FAQs
-
Vibroacoustic sound healing is a therapy that uses low-frequency sound and vibration to support the body’s natural ability to relax, heal and rebalance. The sound frequencies are delivered through a specially designed massage table or sound bed, creating a full-body experience that calms the nervous system and promotes overall well-being.
-
When you arrive, we’ll begin with a short chat to check in and understand how you're feeling, what you need and what you’d like to get from the session. Then, you’ll lie fully clothed on the vibroacoustic massage table, designed to deliver low-frequency sound and vibration through your body.
You’ll be guided into stillness while a carefully selected soundscape plays, using frequencies that support relaxation, balance or emotional release. The sound and vibration gently flow through your system, helping to regulate your nervous system and bring your body into a state of deep rest.
The session is entirely passive so there’s nothing you need to do but receive.
Afterwards, we’ll take a moment to check in, and you’ll be given time to ground before heading back into your day feeling calmer, lighter and more centred.
-
Unlike traditional massage, vibroacoustic massage therapy doesn’t involve physical touch or manipulation. Instead, it uses sound and vibration to work on a cellular level. It stimulates the body’s relaxation response and helping to release tension from within. It’s ideal for people who want a non-invasive and deeply restorative treatment.
-
Yes. Sound healing for stress and anxiety is one of the most common reasons clients book a session. The gentle vibrations and calming sound frequencies help regulate the nervous system, lower cortisol levels and encourage a shift from fight-or-flight to rest-and-digest mode.
-
No effort is needed. You simply lie back, stay fully clothed and let the sound and vibration do the work. Some people fall asleep, others enter a meditative state and many feel a deep sense of stillness and release. Each experience is unique to you.
-
Sessions usually last between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on what you need or want to book. This includes time to settle in, experience the treatment and then gently return to a grounded state before the end.

Some people feel immediate benefits after one session, especially for relaxation or emotional release. For longer-term issues like chronic stress, pain management or anxiety, regular sessions can be more effective. We can discuss a rhythm that suits your needs and goals.
